Norwegian Sceneries

I recently went to Norway for hiking and sightseeing, specifically the epic Møre and Romsdal region. The sceneries of this region is an amazing opportunity for nature photography, and since I love experimenting with multiple art forms I made sure to get a lot of videos as well. I used these videos to make the combined video/music piece below:

As a creative constraint, I produced the track DAWlessly, i.e. without a computer or 'Digital Audio Workstation' (DAW). I used my Ableton Move, 'hacked' with Schwung, which made it possible to apply a nice reverb and granular processing effect on the acoustic guitar. The rest of the beat is made on the Elektron Syntakt. I was surprised by how 'organic' wood-percussion-ish sounds I was able to get out of the Syntakt synthesizer!

Below are some more crisp photos (relative to the videos at least, I don't know how to get as crisp videos, maybe I need a new camera...?).

Videos and photos are taken on my Nikon D7100 with a Sigma 18-35 mm wide angle lense. I also used a ND10 filter so a long exposure time shot was possible during the day for the water mirror shot of Eikesdalen below.
