Soft Piano Covers Gone Wrong

To be honest: I'm cringing a bit about these videos today. However, I did had a lot of fun making the music behind them..! So I'll share them anyway. Perhaps illumination of our flaws and cringeness can be antidotal; bring back some humanity in these AI-festered times?

The title reveals it all - these ideas come from my tendency to favour the epic and the loud in music production, making me incapable of doing a soft piano cover that... just stays soft.

The first idea is from 2021. It's a silly fusion jazz cover of an old Danish classic, "Rør ved Mig", which in turn seems heavily inspired by Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love (but apparently more accurately a Spanish song for Eurovision in 1973).


The second idea is from 2023 and is also a cover of a Danish song, the incredibly beautiful lullaby "Spurven Sidder Stum Bag Kvist". My mom and grandma used to sing this to me when I was a kid :)
